Eden Associate 2-day in person September 2026
2 days (around 12 hours of classroom time), plus up to 5 hours self-directed learning at the discretion of each learner (workbook, video resources and project planning).
Where: Our dedicated training centre in South Devon, Eden House, Dawlish. People enrolled will receive joining instructions on how to find us. Dawlish is accessible via the train mainline between Plymouth and Exeter.
Content: The learning is delivered by our Senior Trainers, Geoffrey Cox and Margot Whittaker. The content is based upon the work of Dr Bill Thomas, who is the founder of the Eden Alternative, a philosophy of care that is practiced globally since it was developed in the 1990s. Learning is delivered via a range of methods, interaction between learners, collaboration and contribution to discussions is
very welcome.
Course outcome: When pass requirements are met, Eden Associate status is achieved and a certificate of training is issued.
